“I started Locums Passport in 2023 with my wife Tega. At the time, we were newlyweds, and I was looking for work closer to home. One evening after watching EastEnders, I was completing my registration documents to join yet another recruitment agency with the hopes of a shorter commute. That’s when it dawned on us, there has to be a better way of getting locum work, one that is friendly for locum healthcare professionals and is cognisant of the NHS aims to reduce agency spend. Locums Passport was born.

Locums Passport enables locums to engage directly with healthcare organisations. It also stores locums' compliance data without the need for repetitive form filling like when signing up with recruitment agencies.

Anyone registered with a license to practice with the relevant healthcare regulator e.g. GMC, GPhC, NMC however we do recommend having at least 6 months to 1 year of practicing before joining Locums Passport.
